Increase Seatbelt and Speeding Fees
Increasing the penalty for not wearing Seatbelts would immediately increase revenue through fees and encourage wear them. IF you choose not to--great, but be willing to pay FINANCIALLY for taking that risk.
Likewise, raising speeding fees will decrease speeding and increase income.
No brainer.

I agree, this idea is a "no brainer."
Like the .07 cents plastic bag tax in the revunue section, you can either be prepared and save or pay the fine. Also this would increase public safety. The citezens don't have to pay the fine They can choose whether or not they want to speed or leave the seatbelt unbuckled.

The government was not instituted to get gain from the citizens. There are better things for the police to be doing then to be the revenue collector for the city, county or state governments.
