An error occurred while saving the comment Debbie commentedOften the long term workers are not as productive as their co-workers with less time. The problem is the state system is set up so supervisors do not want to address the productivity issue because the employee "may retire soon."

An error occurred while saving the comment Debbie commentedI agree and I have a CM parking tag! I am a vanpooler and believe it is the way to go for commuting from Canyon County. It is inexpensive, easy, reliable, and less stress than driving alone.

An error occurred while saving the comment Debbie commentedConstituents should demand Legislators be treated like ALL other state employees, not only in the benefits issue. If state employees take a pay cut or pay more for benefits, Legislators should be required to also.
Holidays actually save the state money, because of the reduction in utility costs, maintenance, housekeeping, etc. The state follows the federal holiday schedule. I am assuming you mean state employees should not have PAID holidays off because otherwise the costs are the same!
